West Midlands UTC is based in a brand new, purpose-built building in Wolverhampton City Centre at our Springfield Campus, sharing cutting-edge facilities with the University of Wolverhampton.
Our students benefit from hi-tech learning environments and technical workshops equipped with specialist kit donated by our employer partners. We use state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology, including full colour 3D printers, laser cutters and large format 3D routers, alongside exceptional design technology that includes both virtual and augmented reality technology, industry standard laser scanning and surveying equipment.
A blend of design studios, ICT rich Innovation and Maker spaces, industry specified materials and civil engineering labs, alongside our workshop and construction park, give our campus a corporate feel. Break-out spaces, a cyber cafe and our design gallery offer areas for relaxation and private study.
All learners have access to cutting-edge ICT facilities and Building Information Modelling (BIM) software and make use of personal computing devices in all of their studies.
