A belated Happy Easter to all Students, Staff, Parents and Carers. I hope you’ve had a wonderful and relaxing break.

Having returned from the Easter holiday, exams and final assessments have quickly kicked in. We therefore expect students to thoroughly revise and prepare for their upcoming exams and assessments in order to improve their prospects of achieving to the best of their ability.   I thank our dedicated staff who have been working voluntarily during their holiday to host revision sessions for students and I also want to thank our students for attending; I assure you that your hard work and sacrifices will pay off.

We honoured the last day of the spring term by hosting a rewards assembly for all year groups where some of our most hardworking students were awarded with certificates of achievement and Easter eggs. I am extremely proud of their excellent attendance, conduct and academic achievement which has taken place this term and I hope it continues. Well done all!

We also participated in a Wolverhampton wide schools event to raise money for the Mayoral Charities. Many thanks to all students and staff who donated £1 to dress down on the last day of the term, we were able to raise a good sum for the following charities: : Inspire You, the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, Kingswood Trust and the Good Shepherd Relief in Need.

In the coming months we are planning to expand our presence on Social Media in order to promote our school across the region. We are working on creating some interesting and engaging content across digital platforms and we ask our students, parents and carers to show their support by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and sharing our page so that others may follow us.

The staff marked the end of last term with an evening visit to the Wolverhampton Escape Rooms where we were divided into two teams and battled against time to solve puzzles and overcome challenges. Needless to say whose team won of course… ahem! To be fair I think we had the easier room and if I’m really honest my team mates did all the hard work.
